Mosaic Tiles in Rome & Mosaic Mood Cards

Mosaic Tile Designs have been around for ages. Andrea and I saw several mosaic works of art in Rome, our favorite being the inside of the dome in St. Peter's Basilica. I've never seen something so beautiful made of mosaic tiles, very tiny mosaic tiles of so many different colors and finishes. I was in awe. These photos don't do it justice, but the art in the entire inside of the dome is all mosaic tiles.

Stampin' Up! has gotten in on the mosaic style of arts and crafts with its Mosaic Mood Suite. I recently did a Facebook Live featuring the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper and several coordinating products. I hope you are inspired by my demonstrations and hope you'll join me in future Facebook Lives for more creative inspiration.

Learning, Growing, Sharing Friendship & Creativity

What a wonderful couple days I had this weekend. It started waking up on Friday morning to blue skies and bright sunshine, something we haven't seen much of in Ohio this spring. Such a beautiful way to welcome in summer. Saturday was just as beautiful, today, Sunday is our third straight day of sunshine and blue skies!

This weekend was also made wonderful with the visit of my friends Susi Brunk and Sherrie Parker, my Stampin' Up! upline and second upline. We shared dinner, wine, friendship, and laughs. They spent the night at my house Friday, then we all attended the Stampin' Up! Ohio Leadership and Business Gathering on Saturday hosted by Jessica Werner, Demonstrator Development Manager of USA Northeast Area and Cori Hancock of Stampin' Up! who oversees all of the DDM's in the East Region. How wonderful it is that they were able to bring together so many Ohio demonstrators. O-H-I-O!

Highlights of the event included leadership activities and business demonstrations by several fabulous Ohio demonstrators on topics such as increasing sales, finding new customers, building and growing a team, increasing retention of team members, and using social media in our businesses. I'm grateful for the many informative and motivating presentations, and am spending some time today working on plans to implement some of these new practices. Of course, the best part of any Stampin' Up! event is reuniting with demonstrators I don't see too often and meeting new people in my Stampin' Up! family. Making connections, building relationships, and learning and growing together is such a big part of what I enjoy as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator.

Storage by Stampin' Up!

Yay! It's here! Storage by Stampin' Up! An easy, fun way to organize our inks and markers and more. I love the versatility of these products. You can stack and arrange them in any number of ways to accommodate your color collection and your craft space. I also like the clean, sleek look of the white. I love that this is a modular system so that you can buy pieces a little or a lot at a time...whatever suits your needs and your budget. You can even earn Storage by Stampin' Up! pieces free by hosting a Stampin' Up! party or private class.

I'm thinking of other ways these organizational pieces can be used in other areas of my home and yours...the pantry and kitchen cupboards, the bathroom, and even the car. I'll be compiling a list of ways we can use these products beyond the craft room and will present it here as soon as I have it ready and have a chance to play with my new Storage by Stampin' Up!

Take a look at the following video then consider how you can use Storage by Stampin' Up! in your craft room and/or throughout your home. I've also included some PDF's downloads with more information and pricing and a configuration chart to help you determine what to buy.

Announcing my own April Ordering Incentive:  EVERYONE who places an order including any Storage by Stampin' Up! piece (s) will receive a $10 coupon to use with the release of the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog in early June. Spreading Kindness with a Hand Stamped Card

Sunday, I returned from Orlando, FL, after attending Stampin' Up! OnStage 2018. I was traveling with and meeting up with 15 other team members including 2 uplines, one I had never met, and 8 of my own team members. We had set up a private Facebook Group prior to traveling where we could post information and share photos. I challenged all of us to take a few of their own hand stamped cards and give them away to random people on our travels and share what happened as a result. This is my challenge story.

I arrived at the Orlando airport very early Sunday morning after a wonderful week of gathering, sharing, and learning with my Stampin' Up! family. Over 6,000 demonstrators from around the globe were there plus SU! corporate team members and staff and all the people behind the scenes who are responsible for putting this event together. After getting through TSA, I was in a long line at Starbuck's ('Tis the Season for Peppermint Mocha). As I waited, I was thinking and reflecting on the week I had and feeling grateful and blessed. What a blessing Stampin' Up! has been in my life. I've been able to work for a financially strong company doing something I really love...creating and sharing it. I've had the opportunity to earn free products, cash bonuses, and even trips, again doing what I love...stamping and scrapbooking and sharing it with others. I've found a job that isn't just fun, but has given me a new purpose and a means for making a difference in other people's lives. I've learned how to be a business woman and now have the confidence to do that.  I've met people from my own community, my state, my nation, and my world. We've become friends and family and choose to support each other in business and in life. All of these blessings started with 3 things...Stamps, Ink, and Paper.

I took the opportunity to share my love of Stampin' Up! with the woman behind me. I told the woman I would like to buy her her breakfast as a Random Act of Kindness. I also asked her to do me a favor and pay it forward using a hand stamped card I had made. It gave me a chance to tell her about Stampin' Up! and what I do. She shared with me that earlier that morning, she read a Facebook post by an older gentleman asking people to spread kindness instead of hate and gave examples of small kindnesses that EVERYONE can do to make the world a better, more peaceful and happy place for all. This sweet lady asked my name and agreed to a selfie to share with my story.

So let's come together using our love of Stampin' Up! and paper crafting to give and send handmade cards and spread kindness in any way we can.
