Music. It lifts us up. It reminds us of days past. It celebrates special occasions and new beginnings. It honors loved ones. Some call music the universal language. I'm willing to bet music plays a role in each of our lives. The Music From The Heart Stamp Set helps us celebrate and encourage others. Million Dollar Sales Achiever Dawn Olchefske helped design this. No doubt, music has played a big role in her life story. In the following FB Live Video Replay, I show you several cards and a project I made using Music From The Heart and #simplestamping techniques.
One stamp set, fun musical images, and great sentiments make for these great #simplestamping cards. My video demonstration above will show you how to stamp the piano keys and cut off the bottom edge of the card front. A strip of Black Foil Paper adds a touch of elegance to each of these cards.
Saying "forget your trebles" is a fun way to express your support and encouragement.
Who wouldn't love to be congratulated and praised by hearing "you rock"?
The piano keys on this card make me want to sing Happy Birthday, not just read it.
Black and white with a punch of red make fun cards too. What color would you choose as your accent color on these cards?
Coordinating Products are just one of the many reasons why I love Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up! recently released 6 new Coordination Products to go along with some of our products in the January-June Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure. This Facebook Live Replay features the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set (Mini Catalog) and the new Nature's Thoughts Dies. I'll also be showing you tips for using the Stamparatus to make your stamping and die cutting more efficient. And with that you'll see me creating some lovely cards for sharing and spreading kindness and positive thoughts.
The Positive Thoughts Stamp Set has wonderful expressions of love and caring for thinking of you and sympathy cards and for cards of encouragement and support. Or leave off the sentiments to make a set of pretty nature inspired note cards to be used for any occasion or simply just because.
These 5 colors were used in my first set of Positive Thoughts cards.
These 4 colors were used in my second set of Positive Thoughts cards.
Below are Stampin' Up! products used in making both sets of cards above. All products can be purchased on my website. Place an online order of $35 or more (before sh/tax) using my monthly Host Code, and I'll send you a surprise embellishment absolutely free.

Stampin' Up! Note Cards & Envelopes are a great product to make creating lots of cards quickly. They come as a set of 20 pre-cut and pre-scored 3 1/2" x 5" Note Cards and 20 Envelopes. They come in both Whisper White and Very Vanilla, are quite affordable, and mailable. If you've overlooked this product or simply never used it, I highly suggest you give it a try.
In today's blog post, I want to show you a Card Folder I made for a set of 4 Note Cards & Envelopes I showed in an earlier post. A pretty card folder with coordinating handmade cards makes a great gift for so many occasions, especially if you're on a budget.
To make a Card Folder holding a set of four 3 1/2" x 5" Note Cards & Envelopes, begin with an 8" x 10" piece of card stock. With card stock in vertical/portrait position, score at 2". Turn card stock to horizontal/landscape position, and score at 5 1/2". Fold on all score lines using Bone Folder for crisp creases. Open up card stock, place in horizontal position with 2" score line at bottom. Cut out a triangle as shown. Apply strong adhesive (I prefer Tear & Tape or Tombo Multipurpose Glue) to the 2" outside edges, fold up to form pockets. The finished card folder will be 5" wide x 6" high.
The layers on the front of my card are 4 3/4" x 5 3/4" Old Olive Card Stock and 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" Peaceful Poppies DSP.
This lovely sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set.

Peaceful Poppies Elements make great embellishments

Make a Large Card Folder using a full sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock to standard 41/4" x 5 1/2" size cards. In the following video, I demonstrate how to make some quick and easy cards featuring the Sale-A-Bration Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper and a Large Card Folder perfect for gift giving.

I am on new product overload! It's true. There are just so many new wonderful, fun, versatile products to choose from in the Stampin' Up! Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration Brochure. I chose the Sale-A-Bration Happy Birthday to You Stamp Set and paired it with Parisian Blossoms products to create 2 lovely and elegant cards, one birthday and one celebrating love and occasions such as engagement, bridal shower, wedding, and anniversary. In the following video replay of my January 14th Facebook Live, I show you my thought process in designing and creating. I love "creating on the fly" and letting others see how I do what I do - from inception and choosing a color palette, stamp set, and paper to assembling my projects, to adding ribbon and embellishments, to presenting the final project and sharing how I will use it or whom I will gift it to. Please enjoy this video demonstration of two beautiful cards. It is my hope that you will be inspired to do some creating of your own fully enjoying the process, then delighting in sharing your creations with others.
If you haven't made my "photo album" card fold, you need to give it a try. It's fun and easy and makes quite an impact.
Champagne Foil Sheets are the perfect accent to the Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper. Gray Granite is my choice of ink as the color works beautifully with the Petal Pink, Pool Party, and Champagne color combination in the Parisian Blossoms DSP.
Petal Pink Mettallic-Edge Ribbon & Champagne Rhinestones are perfect embellishments for these cards.
"Celebrate' is in Happy Birthday to You Stamp Set. 'Love' is in Parisian Blossoms Stamp Set. The tiny heart image is in the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set.
